Kantabile Afrika was founded in 2019 and is a collection of boutique safari camps, run by its owners and creators Vivian & Godwin Temba. The company comprises of two camps in the Serengeti: Cherero Camp and Aurari Camp.
Both camps were conceptualized out of apassion for genuine hospitality and the desire to offer guests the experience to immerse themselves in the wilds of the Serengeti without compromising on comfort. Ecologically friendly, both camps are made of wood and canvas, with no permanent structures in place, so they can be removed without leaving a lasting trace. The spacious tents are powered by solar energy and have solar water heaters, while silent back-up generators ensure 24 hours uninterrupted power supply. Maintaining the health of the land and the communities is a matter close to heart for the owning couple.
Cherero Camp is located in a Great Migration corridor with no other camps in sight. Accessible via Seronera Airstrip, the camp offers ultimate comfort and panoramic views of the surrounding savannah.
All meals are cooked to order by on-site chefs in gourmet style, special dietary requirements can be catered for.
During the day and night game drives guests can explore the abundant wildlife in the vicinity of the camp, other activities available are hot air balloon ride, walking tours, bird watching or private breakfasts & lunches in the bush.
Cherero Camp offers an immersive experience into the beauty of the Serengeti, complemented by skilled service, luxurious accommodations and fine dining.
